Organization of Bib Pick Up: Bib picket/team check in went very smoothly. This was at the Doubletree, which was about 20 minutes from the start line. We checked in, got some paperwork, watched the safety video, got safety flags, t-shirts, bibs, and slap bracelets. Lines were short and we were in and out!
Organization of Race: Oh jeeze. Not the greatest. Maps, directions, transition addresses, and signage all had issues. The Ragnar app always has issues. Our van and runners got lost multiple times. Talk about frustrating! The new “virtual exchange” was a huge mess for us. That was partly our fault though, since we missed a piece of paper in our packet pick up bag that gave us a new address.
Course Description: I was excited to run through the Cape because I had never been there before! Unfortunately most of the legs were not that scenic. The starting line was right on the beach and we got to see a beautiful sunrise, but the majority of the legs were on highways or were weird out and backs. Although not scenic legs, some of those out and back transitions ended at the beach so at least we got to see the sand for a few minutes!
My favorite leg was through the Myles Standish Forest. I loved running those rolling hills, through the tall trees, and along a few lakes. I was bummed though when I finished the last leg and the finish line wasn’t on the beach.
Spectators/Energy: We bring our own energy 🙂
Swag: Super soft t-shirts as always from Ragnar!
After Party: Cash bar beer tent, free lemonade (BYO cup), massage, Reebok tent
Other Thoughts/Comments: I’m glad we went, but I still like Reach the Beach better 🙂

Agree with all of this. Like the Cape Cod race but RTB is much much better.

Jessie did an excellent review. Perfect explanation. The energy level isn’t anywhere near the energy and exciitement of RTB.
